Design of Telecommunication and IT Networks

SITE CONSTRUCTION DESIGN:

Site Acquisition with permits, authorizations includes:
  • Identifying candidates for rooftop, water tank, raw land;
  • Site survey reports;
  • Landscape plans;
  • Lease negotiation;
  • Topographic studies;
  • Soil testing.
  • Obtain urban planning certificates, urban detailed plan, special permits, local permits;
  • Obtaining building permits for constructions and dismantle authorization with technical regulations.
  • Final receptions
Site construction design (ACAD)
  • Survey report on site in order to establish technical solutions.
  • Design of technical projects (DTAC/DE/DTAD/Energy supply).
  • Design of structural components according to specifications, based on the type of site (steel lattice towers, mats, tripods etc.).
  • Structural design of towers/guyed towers/mats and any other metallic structure.
  • Design of foundations.
  • Design of reinforcement projects for existing metal structures.
  • Design of "As built" projects, after the works have finished.

NETWORK SOLUTION DESIGN

Telecommunication network topology

Establishing the network topology according to customer requirements.

Radio design, Radio survey

Radio design for microwave links: RF power calculations, radio equipment dimensioning, radio antenna dimensioning.

Terrain and obstacle analysis; Determination of antenna height; Interference analysis; Utilized software: TAP and PATHLOSS. Maps: digital and topographical.

Radio design for new telecommunication sites: is necessary for: community repeaters, GSM, DCS and UMTS, WiMAX base stations. Radio equipment dimensioning, radio antenna dimensioning, determination of antenna height and coverage.

Radio survey: for new sites and new microwave links. By using field measurements, radio parameters are analyzed using NETACT software, or in the case of microwave links, PATHLOS. Terrain profiles are generated as well as radio coverage. Radio surveys are made based on the client's needs.

Construction of Telecommunication and IT Networks

Civil works:

  • Foundation casting and tower erection / antenna masts

Power supply on the site:

  • The entire process, according to ANRE rules, for low and medium voltage.

  • Cable testing for: insertion loss, fault return, return loss and standing Wave ratio (SWR);

  • microwave path alignment;
  • field strength readings;
  • obstruction lighting controller and lighting system troubleshooting and repair;
  • grounding & electrical test
